What ENHYPEN’s Jake Misses Most About Non-Celebrity Life

 Nothing’s the same now that eyes are on him everywhere.


Although ENHYPEN is only in the second year of their debut, the HYBE group has already achieved things only ordinary people can dream about. But achieving those things comes with sacrifices.
When chatting with Weverse Magazine, Jake shared the parts of everyday life that he misses doing most.


Jake admitted that he sometimes feels like he’s missing out on a normal life. He confessed, “There were times when I felt a little left out from things most people do every day, but we can’t do…”

Because ENHYPEN has experienced being mobbed by fans just from going to the airport, he knows that simple things are no longer as simple. Thinking of the everyday things he misses, Jake remembered “just walking around, going anywhere crowded, or working a part-time job.”
Jake looked on the bright side. Though it’s not quite the same, he appreciated that he could do some of those everyday things during their variety show EN-O’CLOCK.

The fact that I can do those things when I want variety in my life is the best part. I think we’ve
 pretty much done everything I mentioned when the producers asked us the things we wanted to try.

Although the lives of Jake and ENHYPEN will never be normal again, at least they can have moments where they can do similar things.

  Here are the top 30 K-Pop boy groups in terms of brand value rankings for the month of December, based on big data analysis.  According to the  Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation  on December 10, the December brand value rankings for K-Pop boy groups were led by  BTS  in 1st place,  Seventeen  in 2nd place, and  Stray Kids  in 3rd place.  Once again for the month of December, BTS took the lead with an overwhelming 12,276,480 brand points total, while second place Seventeen earned 3,805,885 points.
